RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SUCCESS

We have put together some recommendations for your juice cleanse. 

NOTE: Please consult your Physician or Wellness Professional prior to cleansing to address any specific health conditions.

PRE + POST CLEANSE

For the 3 days pre and post cleanse, we highly recommended eliminating:

  • Heavy and over-cooked foods 

  • All processed foods

  • Meats

  • Dairy

  • Processed sugars 

  • Wheat and refined carbohydrates (bread, white rice, pasta, etc.)

  • Caffeine

  • Alcohol

  • Stimulants

  • Recreational Drugs 

Do eat a plant-based diet that benefits the body and mind, including:

  • Local, organic fruits and veggies

  • Green salads

  • Fruits, especially papaya

  • Smoothies

  • Fresh juices

  • Gluten-free grains like quinoa, amaranth and millet

  • To begin alkalizing the body, we recommend starting each day with 8 oz of warm water with lemon juice. (If you are a coffee drinker, try substituting fresh ginger tea with lemon juice.) 

  • Drink lots of water, coconut water, and/or herbal non-caffeinated teas throughout the day.


CLEANSE DAYS

Remember: refrigerate your juices as quickly as possible! All of our juices are cold-pressed, raw and unpasteurized for maximum benefits and nutrient absorption. 

  • Continue beginning your day with 8 oz. of warm water with lemon juice. (If you are a coffee drinker, try substituting fresh ginger tea with lemon juice.) 

  • Set your intention for the day 

  • Drink your first juice by 8am and enjoy a juice every 2-3 hours.

    • Remember to shake your juices…separation is to be expected.

    • Sip or “chew” your juices slowly...the chewing action mixes saliva with the juice, allowing your body to more easily absorb and utilize the nutrients. Give thanks, savor and enjoy.

  • Between juices, drink lots of water, coconut water, and/or herbal non-caffeinated teas.

  • Drink your organic potassium broth by 6pm (or an hour before bed) to help the body ground before sleep.  This tri-doshic broth is an excellent electrolyte source and blood builder.

  • NOTE: Our juice cleanse is designed to replace meals and snacks, however, if this is your first cleansing experience, please feel free to grab a snack or two along the way. We recommended items from the list above should you feel the urge to eat.

  • Remember your body is experiencing a deep change and may release toxins. To facilitate any releasing, we recommend:

    • Practicing mindfulness and/or meditation

    • Light exercise, movement and/or walking (sweating daily can help the body release toxins)

    • Epsom salt bath

    • Sauna or steam 

    • Dry bruising

    • Breathing

    • Rest is equally beneficial to releasing toxins…listen to what your body needs.
